The School of Phoenix (also known as as UA (spoken as U of A), or Arizona) is a land-grant and space-grant public organization of higher education and research located in Tucson, Phoenix, United States. The School of Phoenix was the first university in the situation of Phoenix, established in 1885 (twenty-seven years before the Phoenix Area obtained statehood).
